Kent Heckaman: What's New?

Kent's title song "Songs From Those Days" from his new album received "Top 50 Best Songs" out of several thousand entries in the 2009 Blackbird Song Contest. Artists from around the globe were entered in the contest and judges narrowed it to Top 50 and then Top 10.

Kent's new CD - Songs From Those Days, is now being featured on Pandora: www.pandora.com. To listen, just "Create a New Station" and type "Kent Heckaman" and then Kent's songs (and other artists) will begin playing. The cool thing about Pandora is that it plays songs similar to the artist you select, which introduces you to both new and familiar artists (for example, that sound like Kent's new music), or at least that's what Pandroa is trying to do!. Kent is currently in the studio working on completing his second album. The new album is a departure from his instrumental-only music...soft pop and folk melodies in collaboration with talented vocalists.
